Justin Martyr (100-165) was a theological teacher in Rome. In his First Apology to the Emperor, Justin Martyr said that “the spirit of prophecy was born on the waters in Gen 1:2. He also said that all Christians met every Sunday for communion, which was the day when Jesus rose. But none of these statements were true.
